Work Environment Policy

We are each other's work environment! Work environment management is the company's and employees' joint responsibility and shall be conducted in collaboration, where everyone has a responsibility to participate.

A good working environment is critical to attracting and retaining the best employees.

The work environment is also strongly linked to our five key values; quality, safety, commitment, innovation and environmental awareness.

We want a positive atmosphere in our clinics, characterised by open-mindedness and a constant desire to improve, both individually and together.

The working environment should be such that we do not suffer ill health because of work.

A good working environment contributes to our enjoyment and well-being, which in turn contributes to us being able to perform well, and to achieve the goals and visions we have.

We do not accept any form of abuse or discrimination such as bullying or harassment in our workplace.

We contribute to a good working environment in the following ways:

• work environment management is a natural part of everything we do and is taken into account in all decisions made, in the activities carried out and in the event of any changes in our work
• we work systematically with work environment management, e.g. through employee surveys. We regularly monitor the physical, organisational and social side of the work environment
• our managers, employees and safety representatives have the right knowledge, skills, resources and authority to promote a good and safe working environment
• all employees receive the induction and training they need to be able to work safely
• responsibilities and authority at all levels are clearly structured (job descriptions can be found on our intranet)
• we act quickly if anyone suffers from illness, we communicate with the person on a regular basis during their sick leave with the aim of everyone returning to work
• we comply with current health and safety legislation and are continuously improving our work environment
• preventing discrimination, bullying and harassment in all forms
• everyone takes personal responsibility and contributes with openness, dialogue, participation, and respect for each other

Work environment questions are part of our overall quality and environmental work and research has shown that a good working environment also increases patient safety. This is why the work environment is also included as part of our business policy.
